Intellectual Poison Disclaimer

This is a quick and dirty disclaimer for reading, linking and otherwise using Intellectual Poison. Got a specific question? Then drop me an Email. This disclaimer is, by no means, comprehensive but it does capture the spirit what I'm on about..

- Intellectual Poison is, for the most part, a light heaarted stress valve for me. I will be irreverent, sarcastic, cynical and, occasionally, rude. I am not attacking specific individuals unless I make that point well known. This is a forum created by me, for me but also for others to read and, hopefully, enjoy. But on the same token, I will sometimes write about serious subjects (like child abuse or stalkers or whatever) because they are important to me. I will make every attempt to let readers know which is which but sometimes I will forget.

All of that said, what I write here is my own (unless I've given the proper attribution to where I picked something up from) and as such is my own regardless of the fact that its been published in a public forum. If you want to use things I've written then by all means do so but make sure that you attribute my writing to me.

Also, try to read everything with a grain of salt. I'm rarely overly serious and will occasionally trounce on a few toes as I have my fun. Don't take offense, or do take offense, but realize that my writing isn't aimed at you. And really, any problems that arise in your life from reading my words is your business and not mine. I would like to think that I'm helping some people out with my writing but that's tangental to my helping myself out with my own writing. It is my catharsis and I refuse to allow any external censorship to impede my process.

But that does not mean that I am intentionally mean or wantonly destructive to other's feelings. If you feel that I am unfairly attacking you or something important to you then write me and let me know. I'm open to discussing and defending any of my opinions (as ANY reasonably good philosopher should be). With all of that out, have fun, its intended to be entertainment with a smattering of information peppered over the top for flavor.
