Layaway Plan Gets Laid Away
Wal-Mart Stores to Cease Layaway Service:
Sam Walton's Wal-Mart _ the one that 'bought American', treated workers with some dignity, and gave low income customers a chance to buy an expensive item over time _ that Wal-Mart is now on permanent layawayNot that I don't think layaway plans are just another kind of marketing scam but its another step further away from Sam Walton's original vision and that's just kind of sad.
