More McCain Smackdowns
Maverick family to McCain: No way are you one of us!But the New York Times reported on Sunday that the real Mavericks - a storied south Texas family with a long tradition in progressive politics - are not too happy about what they say is the misappropriation of their family name.
Its a puff piece but another piece of the greater puzzle that is McCain and Sarah Palin. They are running one of the most underhanded, dirty and negative campaigns ever and it is failing them. But will they change tactics and try something actually relevant to the country's current crisis? Doubtful.
