Nope, they dropped this important statistic because it showed how poor a job they are really doing in the "War on Terror".Is it legal to just change the rules? No, but who's going to stop them from doing pretty much any damned fool thing they choose to do? They, the GOP, are working to make filibusters stoppable, they are working to break down the checks and balances built into our system to prevent the wanton abuse of power that we are starting to see as a matter of course for this administration. They aren't concerned with working with the Democrats, they could give a shit about bi-partisan politics because they are power mad drunk fools working to rewrite the fundamental power structure in this country. To all of you who voted for Bush last November, are you happy with this? Are you still in complete support for a man that treats the rules by which our nation has thrived like a doormat to scuff off the dogshit he keeps stepping in (payola for happy press, anyone?). George Bush doesn't give a damn about you, me or anyone not already in his inner circle or without the wherewithal to buy their way in. He just doesn't and if you think he does care then you're just delusional. Oh yeah, and Tom DeLay? You hang in there, you fucking moronic crooked bitch. Keep helping to shine a big bright fucking light on your ethical misconduct and hypocrisy. You're a lame duck already, soon I hope you rot into a stinking albatross to hang around your party's neck in shame. Because you are a horribly shameful and shamed man who shouldn't be in office, you should be behind bars and working 24/7 to keep your pucker intact.
