Update: Wowee but the Brazilians came in full of fury and power and they nearly swept the card. I went a mediocre 3 for 6 on the night but did call round and style of win for Silva and round for both Rua (TKO vs KO is pretty close) and Tavares.

And, upon closer inspection, it looks like Barboza got a little home field push on his fight as the metrics show Pearson landed more, did more and edged Barboza out for the win when he was actually given a split decision loss.

Big Nog's KO of Schaub was amazing, especially after Schaub rocked Nog seveal times before reversing things and putting the big kid down and out. Rua steamrolled Forrest Griffin, as I expected really. At this point, I don't have any interest in seeing Forrest fight anymore, his game is stale, his heart's not in it and the sport has passed him by.

And Anderson Silva is, without a doubt, the most talented and impressive fighter on the planet. Not pound for pound, best fighter period. How he so easily dismantled and destroyed Okami was amazing. The only opponent that Silva will not be able to beat is Father Time and Father Time is ticking. Silva's 36 now (he looks 26 and has the speed and reflexes of a 26 year old too) and it is merely a matter of time before the chinks in his armor start to show. I rematch against Chael Sonnen would be interesting but I would expect Silva to annihilate Sonnen the second time around (especially since Sonnen likely won't be juiced up again).
