Today's new word in a combination of reefer (pot, dope, weed, KGB, etc.) and references, reeferences.
Reeference - when you need someone to vouch for you before the dealerman will sell you a sack of weed, you need a reeference.
And yes, I am fully aware that nobody anywhere on the planet calls pot reefer anymore. I'm not sure why they ever did in the first place.
