Sorry, I Was Thinking About Spaceships and Martian People

So, there's brand new news that George W. Bush, the most vacant president of our time, was fully briefed about the looming disaster of Katrina.

President Clueless didn't have any questions during the briefing but he assured soon-to-be-battered state officials: "We are fully prepared."

Which was, of course, a complete fucking lie.

Bush declared four days after the storm, "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees" that gushed deadly flood waters into New Orleans. He later clarified, saying officials believed, wrongly, after the storm passed that the levees had survived. But the transcripts and video show there was plenty of talk about that possibility even before the storm — and Bush was worried too.

Maybe the worried look was because he wasn't sure who would win in a battle, martians or space aliens. He couldn't have been especially concerned about the city being creamed by Hurricane Katrina. It still took days to mobilize resources and start evacuations, it took far too long to react.

The point is that Bush knows nothing about what's going on. He was actually briefed about the levees failing and then claimed to be surprised when it happened? Incompetent or just an utter fucking moron? Whichever, he shouldn't be making decisions for the country.

I wonder if George Bush has a little flashing neon sign next to his ear hole that says "Vacancy"?
